Anger is a form of self-defense.  It’s rooted in the fear of an inability to protect ourself from further hurt.

The antidote of this fear is surrender into the protection of God.  Being wise, setting boundaries, but also surrender.  Trusting Him for his protection.

Even when it doesn’t feel like He is protecting us as we think He should.

It’s faith.  And with faith in Jesus, our anger can be given away–to Him to deal with.

And we can stand in the place of forgiveness.  Trust.  And obedience.

It’s a journey.
