It’s strange to think but Jesus lived on a support basis.  I don’t imagine him out raising funds and sending out appeals, but Jesus received from others.  Those others were primarily women, ones who were supporting him out of their own means.  Sometimes in ministry it is weird to receive financial support but even Jesus did.
