If you read through the book of Acts and the birth of the early church, you see that people were fine with what Paul and the other taught. That is until it cut into the profit (Paul prayed for deliverance from a fortune teller), or it swayed the people to them and not to the old guard.
Not much has changed.
Everything is fine until somehow a person’s money or influence is threatened. Then people come out swinging.
So should we stop? Stop when people complain? Stop when people get angry? Stop when someone’s income is cut into even if it’s an unrighteous means of income?
No.
We keep preaching the gospel.
It will always cost us. And it will cost other people when they realize that they can’t make money off of unrighteousness any longer.
But it never stopped Paul.
Nor did it stop Jesus.
