“at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.”
It took a cheap, poorly done Christian movie on a hot night in a crowed room of youth in Brazil for me to see it. To really see it.
The movie was some kind of Armageddon kind of movie with a final battle. The “thing” representing satan was some poorly done creature in black that looked like something you would see from a 60’s movie. But there it was. The forces of satan battling against the forces of light. There was blood, guts and gore on both sides until the forces of light won. The followers of light all bowed down in worship. And then it happened.
All the demons in the movie took a knee. And then satan himself took a knee. And all proclaimed in heaven and hell that “Jesus is Lord.”
It was shocking for a minute. I’ve read this Scripture countless times but to actually see a demon and satan representation bowing down and proclaiming Jesus as Lord was startling. Startling because it will happen.
Even satan and all his demons will bow their heads proclaiming “Jesus is Lord.”
