A Message to Grandparents – 2 Tim 3:14-15

Do not wait. Let me say it again, do not wait.

If you are one who knows the words of Jesus, do not wait to disciple your grandchildren. Start in infancy.

Literally.

Do not wait for them to get older. Look at what the Scripture says when Paul is speaking to Timothy:

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

Speak the words of God over your grandchildren from infancy, even if they don’t understand. We never know fully the power of His Word.

But more than that, when you create that habit, from infancy with your grandchildren, that habit will be sustained throughout their lives.

If not, then the truth is you will likely just keep on waiting for a better time. And there never will be a perfect time.

So speak the Word now. Disciple your grandchildren. Invest in their eternity. Love them well. Be involved.

Your influence knows no end.
