To Know Jesus and Make Him Known

Catching Up the Journey

When I started this journey of going through the Bible one chapter at a time, I didn’t start with the idea of blogging it all in mind. I began with the idea that if I had something to say, I would say it. If not, I wouldn’t.

But somewhere along the lines a couple of books of the Bible in, I began to really see the value of writing something on every chapter. It forced me to think about what it was saying and not just move on. Especially when the hard parts came.

Because of this there are gaps. Gaps in the first couple books of the Bible. I have asked myself, do I just move on? Dive into the New Testament and come back later? That was my initial thought.

But in the middle of all this I am starting a new job. And my brain isn’t ready to switch right now to the New Testament. For that reason I’ve decided to head back and fill in the backs.

The advantage is that this will also make it that when I do end in Revelation, I really will have had that sense of completing it all in blog format.

Thank you for sticking with me in the journey. It is good to go back to the beginning for a bit. I need to find
