I remember Job this morning. Not that I am him. But there seasons of the soul that we don’t get answer for our suffering or even deliverance sooner than we would like. Job suffered quite a bit. He received no explanation. He did ask questions of God. But he didn’t leave the Lord. The Lord invited him into a deeper trust. In time the Lord blessed him many times over.
He restored what the locusts had eaten.
He restored Job’s fortunes.
