To Know Jesus and Make Him Known

Their Judgment will Not Be Revoked – Ezekiel 7

God had passed his sentence. He was announcing it to the people. The end has come. Judgment is near and it will not revoked (v. 13).

“I will pour out my wrath on you very soon” (v. 8).

He would hand them over to a violent people. These people would profane the treasures of God’s people. They would destroy it all.

The people of Israel would cry out for peace but would not find it. Their pockets would be filled with silver or gold that could not save them. God would end their pride and destroy their adultery and idolatry. It was over for Israel.

`God did not delight in giving this pronouncement. But it was the sound of the gavel falling as judgment had now been passed.

When will humanity learn that God does not delight in evil? But his very nature of justice and goodness must bring judgment and justice? If history has anything to tell us, we will never learn.
