So I did get some time to review, mostly chapter 19.  Sometimes I think you pick up more on the 2nd time around than the first time.  This particular chapter was on marriage and divorce.  Even the disciples are shocked by Jesus’ teaching.  But Jesus’ makes very clear that marriage was for life, and the only reason for divorce was not just adultery, but because their hearts were hard.

It is also interesting that we define adultery as cheating during marriage.  Jesus defines adultery as divorcing and then marrying another.  I have to confess, I find this disturbing as it doesn’t fit my framework, or the framework of my friends who have remarried.

Review mainly chapter 19.  Would have liked to have reviewed more, but am deciding to move forward.
