SHOCKING – Why I Didn’t Join the Mormon Church

I’m not talking about myself. It’s just the title of this video. But this video is EYE-OPENING. Amazing. It’s all LDS.org quotes and not anti-mormon literature. Having been visited last year by mormons, this is about as good as it gets why we don’t believe. References are all included in this video.

Joseph Smith lying to his wife Emma about his affair and then has a word from God that if she doesn’t accept it she’s going to be damned (Here on the lds website)

Overt and horrible racism (which is why the disclaimer at the beginning of the vid)

Although it’s important to note that when LDS encounter info like this, they often leave and become atheists. That’s so sad as atheism isn’t the answer, truth about Jesus is the answer as found in the Bible. (And if you’re Mormon, the Bible can be trusted. Your leaders are misleading you. Do the research.)

It’s important more than any other thing we do, more than debate doctrine or point things like this out, that we first and foremost share the gospel. That’s the mistake I made last conversation with the mormons. But here it is.
