Does the Father love us because of our good works?
Does He love us because we please Him?
Does He love us because we are spreading the good news to others?
None of these. Jesus says,
“The father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.”
So we all have ups and downs, seasons of abundance and parched seasons of the soul, good works and bad works.
But at the end of the day he loves us because we love and believe Jesus.
