Counterfeit. For everything real Satan will try to offer a convincing counterfeit. It makes people believe…in the wrong thing.
When Moses challenged Pharaoh by throwing his staff and turning it into a snake, Pharaoh’s magicians did the same thing. They did worked a similar “miracle” which I’m sure had deceived peoples before this incident.
It’s just that when the counterfeit is put next to the reality of God, it will always get swallowed up.
