Was Jesus Crucified
The crucifixion is the center of following Jesus for Christians. But the interpretation of some is that the Quran teaches in Surah 4 that Jesus was not crucified. This document upholds the historical verification of Jesus life and death by crucifixion.
In the meantime, consider the following:
– Does the Quran in Surah 4 actually teach that Jesus was not crucified? Or was it attacking the Jews for boasting that they had killed Jesus. Look at the context and you will see. It was confronting the Jews. It also makes sense with Quran 4:158.
– If you say that this text means that Jesus was only made to appear to be crucified, then you are also saying Allah deceived and tricked people. Not only that but he tricked people from the death of Christ until the 7th Century, damning all people to hell for committing shirk on his deception that he, as some interpret, did not correct until hundreds of years later.
