Meditating on the temptation of Jesus in the desert this morning. I’ve just been wrestling with what was the temptation that Jesus had to endure?
1) Turn stones to bread–Clearly he was hungry and it wasn’t just because he missed breakfast. We all know that the lust of the flesh is strong. Sexual immorality, eating more than we should or eating things that are not healthy, addictive behaviors and habits… These have all been things that humanity has wrestled with. So when Satan offered
2) Kingdoms of the world–Does the end justify the means?
3) Throw yourself from the temple–testing the Lord’s love. Proving that he is who the Father says he is.
