What does a man find sexy in a woman?  For Solomon here it is not just eyes and hair but teeth and temples.

It reminds me when I was deep in the jungles of Thailand in a village.  We encountered a tribe and in this tribe their elbows and knees were covered out of propriety.  I have never before considered elbows or knees sexy but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

The man here has gone down to check his orchard.  It seems clear this is Solomon in this context as he talks about his many virgins and concubines, but that they are nothing compared to the woman of Song of Solomon that he loves.

We learn more of the Shulammite woman.  She is the only daughter of her mother.  She is special to her family as well as to her friends and others that speak well of her.

This is important as her beloved is saying she is not just a woman of beauty, but a woman of character.  The others admire her as well.  That matters.  Beauty attracts but character sustains.
