To Know Jesus and Make Him Known

Thank You, Qatar!

Suffice it to say the world knew very little about Qatar, dwarfed by its bigger neighbors. And yet wow, what a great World Cup they hosted. It was arguably the best ever games on the books. Thank you! And your hospitality to the world was well-regarded by many. It’s not a small thing to host the nations of the world.

I recently saw a video on Qatar and was blown away by the beauty of the architecture, the desert, and the incredible history. In a different season of my life I would want to visit. Of course I say that about almost every country, but it’s true. The beauty and the people seemed like a place I would like to go. And the fact that is almost always at the top of the safest nations in the world to visit? Wow!

Of course, this small nation is a nation of more foreigns workers than born-residents so there are many faiths represented. But much work is to be done.

Still, can anyone reading this say a prayer for Qatar? That the true light of Jesus would come to this great people? It is still dangerous for a local to give their life to Christ. And so for that we want to pray for people to have the courage to follow the truth wherever it leads.

But to familiarize people with a glimpse into the nation, I will give you the same video I watched. Here it is:
