To Know Jesus and Make Him Known

David’s Secret – W.O.W.

David’s secret that isn’t so secret.  It’s the “secret” to his success.  Over and over we see this in the psalms and I am seeing it more clearly lately. Here is is:

1) (The) Word – Meditating on it day and night

2) Obedience – Trusting God no matter the outcome

3) Worship – Non stop thanksgiving and praise to God

Call it David’s W.O.W power to great things in life.  It’s not that David didn’t have enemies.  He had them in volumes.  It’s not that he wasn’t betrayed.  Betrayal was a regular part of the journey of his heart.  It wasn’t that he didn’t suffered.  He often suffered to the point of despairing of life.  But with the Word, Obedience, and Worship forever on his lips, his life was internally prosperous and one that God often blessed outwardly as well.

Think about it.  If there is every a dry spell in your life, it’s probably because you haven’t been in the Word, you’re not in the place of obedience, or praise and has been something relegated mainly to Sundays.
