Fasting Advice - Waiting out the Inner Child

Fasting Tip – Waiting out the Inner Child

Some people do great with fasting and don’t find it all that challenging.  And then there’s the rest of us.

First of all, if you haven’t fasted in a while, consider it.

Secondly, and here’s my tip, when hunger hits it is like a fussy child.  It screams for about 30-40 minutes and then calms down.

When that comes on, make a personal note of the time.  Activate “screaming child mode” which means under no circumstances whatsoever can you make a decision to break your fast, give in, or anything of the like.  After the hour, reassess.  And you will often find that the screaming child hunger pangs have dissipated.
