Serbia, you seem to be gorgeous! And with much history.
I cannot even begin to understand the history, both past and recent. I know Serbia made the news for quite some time. I hope that there’s more stability in the land lately.
It looks like the Serbian Orthodox Church makes up 84% of the beliefs of the land, Muslim 3%, Protestantism 1%, and then others. I know about three years ago there were was a new religion law that stirred up the land. I don’t even come close to understanding it.
But from what I do understand is that faith has often become an identity in a church and not necessarily an identity in Jesus. I don’t know if that’s correct, but let’s pray for you.
Lord, we pray for Serbia. We pray for revival would sweep across the land. That the people of Serbia would place their faith in you and not in a church, that they would love you and not any of the world that is not of you. Lord, let their hearts burn with your love in them, that they may love one another and love their neighbor. God, move among this beautiful land. Thank you. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
