To Know Jesus and Make Him Known

He Frustrates the Ways of the Wicked – Ps 146

Man’s help is useless, the psalmist says.  He has all the best and intentions but when he dies, it’s over.  What’s the point of putting your trust and your faith in a mere mortal?  Put your faith in God.  He is eternal.

Blessed and happy is the one who puts their faith in God.

He is the one who can change the narrative.  He is the one who can free prisoners, open the eyes of the blind, protect people and take care of the fatherless and widow.

He also does this and this is also a prayer:

He frustrated the ways of the wicked” (Ps 146:9).

What a good word for the day.  Lord, frustrate the ways of the wicked.  Let them fall into the net they have set for others.

The LORD reigns forever, Zion, your God reigns for all generations.  Hallelujah!” (Ps 146:10).
