Greet Ampliatus, my beloved in the Lord.
Greet Urbanus, our fellow worker in Christ, and my beloved Stachys.
Greet Apelles, who is approved in Christ. Greet those who belong to the family of Aristobulus.
Greet my kinsman Herodion.
Greet those in the Lord who belong to the family of Narcissus.
Greet those workers in the Lord, Tryphaena and Tryphosa.
Greet the beloved Persis, who has worked hard in the Lord.
Greet Rufus, chosen in the Lord; also his mother, who has been a mother to me as well.
Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brothers who are with them.
Greet Philologus, Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints who are with them.
When you are on mission, you bond deeply with your co-workers and those who help you. It’s the joy of shared mission together. And suffering together.
They have different roles and places of influence. Some are known as families, some were his family, others were his co-workers, and one woman was as a mother to Paul. There were sisters who worked together. And just some really great friends. But Paul loved them.
Paul is looking forward to seeing them. He wants to make sure he greets them before he gets there. It’s love and excitement as he anticipates his time with them.
The richest part of serving Christ is that the family of God truly is special.
And if you want to find your people, serve in your area of passion. There you more than likely will meet them.
