Today is the day where we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.  With the cross, it’s the most important even of Jesus’ life.  And the life of the believer also,

If there is no resurrection of Jesus, there is no reason to believe (1 Cor 15:14).

But if Christ is raised from the dead, there is every reason to believe.  He is alive!  And what he said is true.

There is hope beyond the grave.  He has led the way.

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his (Romans 6:4-6).

This song says it so well.

God sent His son, they called Him Jesus

An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
