What Do We learn from the Gospel of John?

The Gospel of John is rich with the nature and identity of Jesus.  If someone believes that Jesus never said or implied that he was God in the flesh, then they likely have never read the gospel of John.  Because over and over and over Jesus shows how he is God.

This is what we come to know of Jesus:

1) He is God in the flesh (John 1)
2) He is the one with power to change water into wine (John 2) and cleanse the temple (John2)
3) Through beilef in Him is eternal life (John 3)
4) The good news is for all people, including the hated ones (John 4)
5) Jesus brings healing, and their is life in his name (John 5)
6) Jesus is the Bread of Life, and who has authority over nature (John 6)
7) Jesus is the Christ who knew what would happen to him (John 7)
8) Jesus was the embodiment of truth and love (John 8)
9) Jesus is the healer who can even restore the eyesight of a man born blind (John 9)
10) He is the True Shepherd (John 10)
11)  He is the resurrection and life, and can raise the dead (John 11)
12) He is the humble King (John 12)
13) Jesus is the Servant of All (John 13)
14) Jesus is the Way to the Father (John 14)
15) Jesus is the True Vine (John 15)
16) Jesus Never Leaves us Alone (John 16)
17) Jesus cares for his disciples and their unity (John 17)
18) Jesus’ kingdom is not of this world (John 18)
19) Jesus knows his power and relationship with the Father (John 19)
20). Jesus has the power to lay down his life, and take it up again (John 20)
21)  Jesus is merciful, giving grace to the broken

Jesus is worth our following Him.

May we become like Him.
