What is Ahead – Php 3:13

“Forgetting what is behind, and straining toward what is ahead.  I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”  (Php 3:13).

The past does not define me.

The patterns of the past are not my future.

Looking back to the past means they will be my future.  Look forward means that they are in the past.

The closed doors of the past are not closed ahead.

The griefs of the past, while the situations remain the same, is a place of resolve and move forward.

He is forward.

I am behind.
