I needed this psalm and these words this morning (Ps 16:5).
“LORD, You are my portion
and my cup of blessing;
You hold my future.”
Sometimes I look at the future and think, how is this going to work? I don’t need to have the answers to that but I just am tempted to want to. The bigger question is do I really trust the LORD for my future? Really? Or do I think and plan and try to work my own miracle.
Ps 17:11
“You reveal the path of life to me;
in Your presence is abundant joy”
