I’m glad to see Jamaica showing up here. I’ve never been to Jamaica but I have friends who have been and say how lovely it is.
I have not been to your island although I lived many years on a different island myself. Island life is wonderful and complex.
I know the mission I worked with had its beginning in Jamaica many years right about the time a hurricane hit. It was divine opportunity to help with the clean-up that hurricanes so often leave.
Jamaica, I know there are many there who love and fear the Lord, walk in his holiness and His joy. May your love and joy increase and increase and increase and let it overflow to the nations.
From having lived on an island myself, the reality of the tourists to change culture and economy and more can be a challenging. But I hope you will come to know that beauty attracts and through this you can ministry greatly to the whole world. They literally come to your door. May these things be an opportunity for you.
