You see, I used to run marathons. And well, you Kenyans beat everyone in the world!! We don’t even see your dust!! Can you just let us get close? Please? A little bit? 🙂
To say Kenya looks beautiful is an understatement. I think I need to visit.
Now Kenya. Let’s talk like I said.
You guys are fast. Can go far. And endure long. And I think it’s perfect for the gospel.
The ministry I used to work with had a training school that studied the Bible during the day, then they did fitness training all afternoon. Five days a week. Why? They were training physically to take the Bible to the very difficult places.
And it got me to thinking. Why don’t the Kenyans rise up and go to the hard places? I think the laziest Kenyan would only need to work out a day or two and they could go anywhere! 😉
In all seriousness, your people really do have the ability to go to the hard places. So are you going? Are you leading the way of the Great Commission to the most difficult places? I hope so. If not, GO. Don’t wait for someone to tell you, to send you, or to have some special moment. The world needs what you have. So go!
And if more workers are on the field in the hard places, then maybe some of the rest of the world can win some marathons.
