When I was in college I did a paper on Mauritania, it’s people and bringing the gospel. So for some reason since then it became a special place in my heart, though I know and remember pretty much nothing from that paper.

The desert has a very special beauty of its own.
Mauritania, the hope of your people is Jesus. It says that 100% of the country is Islam. And 100% I believe is never anywhere, unless something like that is forced.
You know, the Qu’ran mentions Jesus. He is a healer and miracle worker, wouldn’t it be great to know the Jesus of the Injil that Muslims are commanded to read? We have copies of the Bible older than the Prophet Muhammad, and there are many reasons to trust in His Word. But I implore you to read the Bible, starting with the New Testament.
If you do not have a Bible or are an ex-pat, I encourage you to pray God will give you a Bible. Jesus is more than you know.

Lord, please reveal your Son Jesus to the people of Mauritania.
